Constance Ehrhart Brough, 90, of Hanover, entered peacefully into God’s eternal care on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover with her family by her side.
Born on May 9, 1934, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Daniel D. Ehrhart, II and Helen Winebrenner Ehrhart. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles William “Billy” Brough, Jr., and a brother, Daniel D. Ehrhart, III. Connie was a 1952 graduate of Eichelberger High School in Hanover and retired from Kleffel’s in 2016 after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an incredibly loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always enjoyed any opportunity to spend special time with her family.
Connie is survived by three children, Kristin W. Brough, Andrew Y. Brough and his wife Sharon, and Aimee B. Tibbs and her husband Jeremy; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, William W. Ehrhart and his wife Lois; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service at a future date is currently being planned by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Homewood at Plum Creek Site Gift Fund, in memory of Constance E. Brough/Care South Dementia Unit, 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA 17331.
The family would also like to express their deep appreciation to the many nurses and staff at Homewood who provided such loving and kind care to our Mom. They are all “angels on earth.”
