Clyde H. Cooper, 87, of Dover, beloved husband of Creda Wildasin Cooper, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at York Hospital.Born November 4, 1921 in Codorus Twp, PA, he was a son of the late George and Minerva Myers Cooper. He retired from A.C. Valve after 30 years of service and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, York.In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by a son, Lee A. Cooper and his wife, Bonnie of Etters; three daughters, Donna E. Veihdeffer and her husband, Bob of Curwensville, Diane C. Strock of Chambersburg, and Dawn C. Bowling of Lewisberry; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily and Erica Bowling, Nathan Strock, Kelli Veihdeffer Norman and Zachary Cooper; and a brother, Earl L. Cooper and his wife, Eileen of Hanover.
Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Cancer Patient Help Fund at Apple Hill Medical Center, 25 Monument Road-Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
