Clifford E. Pfaff, 90, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Homewood at Plum Creek where he had resided for the last 25 years.
Born on Sunday, October 7, 1923 in Hanover, he was a son of the late George H. and Verna Krentler Pfaff. He was a 1941 graduate of Eichelberger High School and 1951 graduate of Western Maryland College with a degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, and Business Administration. In 1960, he earned a Master’s degree in Art Education from Penn State University and continued graduate work at Temple University, the University of Maryland, and American University.
Mr. Pfaff was an accomplished artist and taught art at South Western High School for more than 30 years, retiring in 1987. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by cousins, many friends and his dog, Floura.
A private service is planned.
