Claudine Mary Lawrence Keagy, 99, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, December 7, 2009 at Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community.
Born July 2, 1910 in Conewago Twp., PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Samuel and Catherine Klunk Lawrence. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, the late A. Grant Keagy, who died in 1995.
Mrs. Keagy was a member of the Hanover Church of the Brethren. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include her three daughters, Marlene M. Fleming of Woodbridge, VA, Louise E. Little and her husband, Alan, of Dallastown, PA, and Alma C. Owens and her husband, Gary, of Lewisburg, PA; a sister, Estella Miller of Hanover; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Hanover Church of the Brethren with Pastor Geraldine Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10-11:00 am Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331.
