Services: Her mass of christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331.
Visitation: Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the church.
Claudine Ann Hanner, 68, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Ronald L. Hanner to whom she was married 30 years on May7th. Born in Lansing, MI on September 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lyle E. and Ada Lankton. Mrs. Hanner was a Children's Services Supervisor at the North Carroll Branch Library in Carroll County, MD. She also taught English as a second language in the Gettysburg area. Mrs. Hanner graduated from the University of Mexico, Mexico City and years later, earned a Masters degree in Library Science from Clarion State University, Clarion, PA. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 children Anne M. Kazmierczak of Gaithersburg, MD, Dr. George A. Resta, III of Potomac, MD, Colleen F. Doherty of Twinsburg, OH, Michelle C. Muller of Warwick, NY, 2 stepchildren Ronald L. Hanner of Woodbridge, VA, Christine A. Pagano of Hamilton Square, NJ, 14 grandchildren, 4 brothers Ron Rohlman, Dave Lankton, John Rohlman, and Jim Rohlman. Her mass of christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331. Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Rev. Samuel Houser will serve as celebrant. Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover is in charge of arrangements.
