Clark R. Worley

Clark R. Worley, 93, of Hanover, husband of Cosmas Gebhart Worley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Hanover Hospital.



Born on Friday, August 13, 1920 in Newberry Twp., he was a son of the late George H. and Marguerite V. March Worley. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Guy, Dorsey and Russell Worley.



Clark retired from Doubleday Co. where he was employed for over 20 years. He had also served as district manager for the York Sunday News, overseeing all of the local paper carriers. Although legally blind, he was a talented woodworker, an avid fisherman and enthusiastic gardener.



In addition to his wife of 71 years, he is survived by a son, Patrick Worley of Hanover; four daughters, Janet Hentz of New Oxford, Barbara Novak of Allentown, Christine Bankert and her husband, Michael of Littlestown and Cindy Robertson and her husband, John of Hanover; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.



Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 31, 2014 at Conewago Chapel Cemetery, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover.
