Cindy Ann Grubb, 66, of Finksburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Hanover, PA surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Sunday, September 30, 1956 in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Harry R. Swenson and Shirley A. Wenige. Cindy attended Franklin High School in Reisterstown prior to meeting the love of her life, William L. “Lou” Grubb. Together they enjoyed cruises, spending time with family and being outside maintaining their property. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, love of dogs and her amazing party planning; never leaving out anyone’s favorite desserts. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and received numerous inspiring messages from the team during her illness. Cindy was a homemaker, caring for her family was very important to her, but being “Mom Mom” was the job she truly loved the most.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Lou Grubb; two sons, Chris Grubb of Hanover and Scott Grubb of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Kelly Blake and her husband, Michael, of Hanover, and Kimberly Schaeffer and her husband, Matt, of Lewes, DE; a sister, Colleen Calp of Hanover; and eight grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Kaylee, Connor, Parker, Presley, Jaiden and Kennedy.
A private service is planned.
