Christy L. Chandler

Christy L. Chandler, 56, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home following an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born on Wednesday, August 26, 1964 in Reading, she was the beloved daughter of Phyllis M. Kesler Chandler of Hanover and the late Ernest Chandler. She was also preceded in the death by two brothers, Scott and Glenn Chandler. A 1982 graduate of Hanover High School, she continued her education at the University of Alabama and later McDaniel College. She enjoyed working in the financial sector and held positions at Barnett Bank in Naples, FL and Community National Bank in Hanover. Christy also spent years as the office manager of Chandler Real Estate. She was a member of Hanover First Church of God and loved Great Danes, especially her late dog, Elliott. She loved her family and enjoyed staying close to home, although she was excited to spend time at the beach. Christy always cared more for others than for herself and found her greatest joy in her son, Connor Landaeta.

In addition to her son and mother, she is survived by two brothers, Craig and Bradley Chandler, both of Hanover.

A graveside service will be held privately at Mount Olivet Cemetery with a Celebration of her Life to be held in the late Spring of 2021.
