Christine C. “Chris” Garrett, 69, of Dallastown, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Promedica Skilled Nursing Center in Dallastown.
Born on Thursday, April 16, 1953 in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. Roberts, Jr. and Irene C. Hartlove Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her former husband of 25 years, William J. Garrett, Jr., who died in 2006; and a daughter, Jennifer Amy Garrett, who died in 2004. Chris served as the Director of Outdoor Programs for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland for many years. An avid outdoor person, she enjoyed camping, visiting Gettysburg and watching the Hanover “Eagle Cam”. In her spare time, she also enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her two children, William J. Garrett, III and his wife, Sherri, of Parkville, MD and Rachael E. Bardwell and her husband, Jason, of Dallastown; and two granddaughters, Paige and Rylee Garrett.
A private service will be held.
