CHRISSI AMOS TEUFEL, York
Kathryn Christine “Chrissi” Amos Teufel, 56, of York and formerly of Annapolis, MD, was called home by God on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 unexpectedly from her home.
Born on Saturday, June 16, 1962 in Annapolis, she was a daughter of James A. Amos, Sr. and Brenda Parks Amos, of Spring Grove. A 1980 graduate of Severna Park High School, she was employed by the State of Maryland for over 25 years.
Skilled with her hands and a creative mind, Chrissi enjoyed crocheting and painting. Many friends and family were gifted either a blanket or piece of artwork that she made. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom she loved “to the moon and back”. If she could have saved the world, she would have for she had a generous spirit that guided her to help others.
In addition to her parents, Chrissi is survived by her daughter, Ashley Amos of York; her son, Gregory Teufel and his wife, Nicole, of Dover; two grandchildren, Sonny and Noah; a sister, Margaret Dudek and her husband, Alan, of Spring Grove, formerly of Arnold, MD; a brother, James Amos, Jr. and his wife, Vicki, of Arnold, MD and four nieces and two nephews, Jessica and Jimmy Amos III and Kaitlyn, Ryan, Rachel and Emma Dudek.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Monday, August 27, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home.
