Charlotte M. Millheim, 94, formerly of Hanover, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Lancaster Brethren Village Retirement Community.
Born on Thursday, December 14, 1922 in York, she was a daughter of the late Paul H. and Mary K. Stump Stremmel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Millheim, who died in 1974; a brother, Henry Stremmel; and a sister, Madeline Harget and two son-in-laws, Michael C. Auchey and Charles A. Callahan.
She was formerly employed by DoubleDay Co. and Sonoco Products Co in Hanover. She was a former member of the Dental Assistants Society of Hanover and was a former dental assistant for the late Dr. Richard Greenholt. She worked throughout her career as a caregiver for multiple organizations until she retired.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Callahan of Mount Joy; two grandsons, Joseph Auchey and his wife, Helen, of Manheim and John Auchey and his wife, Cynthia, of Elizabethtown; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Sarah Auchey of Manheim; and one sister, Pauline Stremmel of New Oxford.
Per Charlotte’s wishes, a private service is planned.
