Services: A service of remembrance will be held Saturday morning 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 129 Charles St., Hanover.
Visitation: Visitation will be at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul F. Warnkey will officiate.
Charlotte W. Leonard, 84, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care Tuesday evening, February 13, 2007 at the Zimmerman Place, Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Raymond Leonard who died in 1988. Born in Hanover on October 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Paul I. and Marie Crumrine Wentz. Mrs. Leonard retired from the Credit Department of Hanover House in December 1987 after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Daughters of American Colonists, Hanover American Legion Post #14 Auxiliary, and the Hanover Elks Auxiliary. She had also served the Hanover community as a volunteer for the Hanover Public Library and Meals on Wheels. Surviving is her daughter Jane L. Hoffman and husband Rick of Shrewsbury, 2 grandchildren Jennifer Hoffman, Jacob Hoffman, a brother Robert Wentz, of Hanover, 2 sisters Dorothy Becker, and Nancy Sandruck, both of Hanover. Mrs. Leonard was also preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Little and a brother Irvin Wentz. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday morning 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 129 Charles St., Hanover. Visitation will be at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul F. Warnkey will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hanover. Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover is assisting the family with arrangements.
