Charlotte R. “Becky” Herb, 84, of New Oxford, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Cross Keys Village—The Brethren Home Community following lengthy illness.
Born June 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Emma Kemper Reck. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years, Richard C. Herb, who died in 1996. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Morrison and a brother, Cletus Reck.
A 1943 graduate of Hanover High School, she was co-owner of Revonah Home Supplies. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ before transferring her membership to The Faith Community of the Brethren Home Community.
Survivors include her two brothers, Marvin Reck and his wife, Nancy, and Lavere Reck, all of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
