Charles A. "Bubba" Lewis Sr.
Charles Alan “Bubba” Lewis, Sr., aged 54, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, in Hanover, PA.
Born on August 20th, 1968 in Nassawadox, VA, Bubba was the son of Charles Preston Lewis, Sr. and the late Malinda Lee Echols.
From an early age, Bubba found the most peace in life as a waterman on the Chesapeake Bay.
Bubba is survived by his former wife Kay Lewis, their four children, Kimberly Carpenter of Eastville, VA, Charles Alan Lewis, Jr. of Cape Charles, VA, Zachary Lee Lewis and wife Natasha Lewis of York Springs, PA, and Noah Timothy Lewis of Cape Charles, VA.
Additionally, he is survived by his eight grandchildren, Kaylei, Riley, Brantley, Avery, Emmit, Heidi, Solomon, and Katie Joy; brother, Chuck Lewis and wife Kim, and sister, Becky Spady; step-mom Debbie Spady; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.
A celebration of life service will be held at Full Gospel Church in Cheriton, Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 am, officiated by his cousin Pastor Randy Lewis, life-long friend Pastor Russell Goodrich, and son Zachary Lewis.
