Cecilia C. Scheldt, 104, of Cross Keys Village, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at The Brethren Home Community.
Born on Wednesday, June 10, 1914 in Canonsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Frances Lucciola Eonta. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Scheldt, Jr., who died in 1969, and seven siblings.
Survivors include her son, John Joseph Scheldt, III and his wife, Karen, of Glenville, PA; two granddaughters, Mandi Peltzer and Rebecca Yates, both of Hanover; seven great-grandchildren, Reilly, Lily, Raife, Remi, Lucy, Reid and Asher; a brother, Joseph Eonta; and two sisters, Joanne Hoffman and Mary Uschel.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, MD. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 7 to 9 PM Monday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
