Cathy Welsh, 67, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her home.
Born on Saturday, March 13, 1954 in Reisterstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hornick Lookingbill. A 1972 graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown, Cathy was employed for many years as a circulation clerk for Carroll County Public Library, retiring in February of 2021. She enjoyed reading, riding motorcycles, listening to music and was also a former professional bowler.
Survivors include her two children, Patrick A. Welsh of Benton, PA and Mindy M. Skipper of Hanover; a grandson, Donavyn Ramos; three step-children, Judi Welsh of Upperco, MD, Kathy Smith and Tommie Evry, both of Baltimore, MD; and a brother, Robert Lookingbill of Holland, MI. Cathy was preceded in death by her former husband, Tom Welsh and her life partner, Mike Henry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Library, 1100 Green Valley Road, New Windsor, MD 21776.
