Services: The funeral will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with the Rev. Linda K. Gerber officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s (Dubs) Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery.
Visitation: A viewing will be held 6-8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
Catherine Marie Weaver, 49, of Hanover, wife of Tony L. Weaver, entered into God’s eternal rest Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Hanover Hospital.Born, August 19, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of John Malinowski, Jr. of Westminster, MD and the late Mary M. Green. Mrs. Weaver was a graduate of Westminster High School and took great pride with her employment as a nursing assistant and activity director at Cross Keys Village, The Brethren Home Community for 14 years. She loved traveling to Ocean City and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. She spent countless hours gardening and completing Word Search puzzles.Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, is her daughter, Kelly M. Leese; her son, Christopher D. Leese and his wife, Sarah, all of Hanover; a stepson, Shawn C. Weaver and his wife, Bobbie-Jo, of Littlestown; a brother, Tony Malinowski and his wife, Sherri, of Gettysburg; three sisters, Tammy Robbins and husband, John, of Hurlock, MD, Elaine Francis of Berkeley Springs, WV, and Mary Conaway and husband, Floyd Conaway, Jr., of Great Cacapon, WV; her stepmother, Cindy Malinowski of Westminster, MD; her stepfather, Charles Green, Jr. of Great Cacapon, WV; six stepbrothers, Danny Green, Kenny Green, and Ronnie Green, all of Westminster, MD, Dickie Green of Finksburg, MD, Russel Green of Seattle, WA; and Tommy Green of Gaithersburg, MD; and her nieces and nephews, Brian Malinowski of Hurlock, MD, Willie Francis and Josh Francis, both of Westminster, MD, Marshall Conaway of Fairmont, WV, C.J. Conaway of Berkeley Springs, WV, and Heather Cole and Scot Malinowski, both of Gettysburg, PA. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Chris Shockley.
