Catherine R. "Cassie" Breighner

Catherine R. “Cassie” Breighner, 98, of Hanover, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.

Born on Thursday, June 19, 1924 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Francis A. and Mary Crowl Breighner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and William Breighner; and four sisters, Theresa Barrett, Helen Hardy, Doris Feeser and Rose Redcay. Cassie was a 1942 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and retired from Kleffel’s in 1986 after 12 years of service. She was a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Parish.

Survivors include a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Maxine Feeser of New Oxford; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at St. Vincent dePaul Church by The Rev. Michael P. Reid, II. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
