Catherine A. Myers, 95, of Spring Grove, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Born on Saturday, September 25, 1926 in Spring Grove, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Blessed Landis and Hilda Catherine Bankert Landis. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wilford Leon Myers, who died in 2002; siblings, Mildred Laughman, Miriam Becker, Hattie Miller, Vernon, Sterling, Norman, Andrew, Stewart, Raymond and Harold Landis; a grandson, Jason Kennedy; and a daughter-in-law, Treva Myers. Catherine was a charter member of Hope Baptist Church in Hanover, and was a retired employee of Pillowtex.
Survivors include her three children, Larry Myers and his wife, Linda, of Spring Grove, Elaine Kennedy and her husband, Craig, of Camillus, NJ and Roberta Eby and her husband, Gregory, of Elkhart, IN; seven grandchildren, Glen, Joyce, Justin, Matthew, Angela, Philip, and Katie; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Cramer of Spring Grove and Ruthella Delozier of Seven Valleys; one brother, Earl Landis of Glen Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Baptist Church, 6450 Hope Way, Hanover, PA 17331.
