Catherine E. Clark, 93, of Gettysburg, entered into God’s eternal care on January 27, 2010 at Gettysburg Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born August 25, 1916, in McSherrystown, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Claudeine Melhorn Stump and wife of 63 years to the late John Sterling Clark, who died in 1980.
She had been employed by the Hanover School District for many years as a custodian and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
The last of her immediate family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 am Friday, January 29, 2010 at Panebaker Funeral Home Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Joseph F. Gotwalt officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation BVM Church Cemetery. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
