Carolyn Ann Trone, 69, of Hanover entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Phoebe Berks Health Center in Wernersville.
Born on Wednesday, March 2, 1949 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Llewellyn J. and Anna Louise Hoover Wilt. Carolyn was a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Millersville University in 1972, and was a teacher for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover and had a great love for her family’s farm and all its animals, with a special affection for cats.
Survivors include a son, Benjamin Trone and his wife, Maria, of Gilbertsville; a daughter, Jennifer Kwiatkowski and her husband, Christopher, of Wernersville; six grandchildren, Brinley, EJ, Jacob and Jillian Trone, and Jack and Collin Kwiatkowski; two sisters, Anna Lovett and her husband, Lonnie, and Mary Dehoff and her husband, John; a brother, Michael Wilt and his wife, Sue, all of Spring Grove; and 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Timothy Wilt.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Mr. Thomas Aumen officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
The family wishes to thank the staff and management of the Phoebe Berks Health Center for the loving care and their “faith in action” that was shown during Carolyn’s stay.
