Carole Lee Orndorff

Carole Lee Orndorff, 73, of Hanover, wife of the late Robert F. Orndorff, died on Friday, December 28, 2018, at York Hospital.
Born on Friday, December 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Elwood H. Jamison, Jr. and Joan Esther Neiderer Jamison. Carole was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and a member of the Hanover Elks Lodge BPOE #763 Auxiliary, and the McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose #720. She enjoyed Tatting for years and was very creative with her style. A few of her favorite pastimes included knitting, crocheting and putting puzzles together. Carole was employed by the former R & B Wooden Treasures in Hanover for eight years.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas Jamison, of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by caregivers, Bob and Gail Neiderer, her close friend Joanna and the “love of her life”, her Sheltie, Chelsea.
A memorial service will be at 1 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 with The Rev. Kathryn Schroeder officiating at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.
