Carol A. Warner, 78, of Hanover, passed away peacefully and entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
Born on Sunday, May 9, 1943 in Hanover, she attended Eichelberger High School and was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and LaRue Baublitz Miller. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis R. Mummert; a son, Bryan L. Mummert; two brothers, John and Clair Miller; and a sister, Henrietta Pearl Kessler.
A lifetime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, she worked as the church secretary for many years and enjoyed camping, cooking and baking, reading devotionals, completing word searches, and watching the Game Show Network. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include four children, Kelly A. Shelley, her husband, Kevin, and their children, Rachel and Andrew; Craig A. Mummert, his wife, Carrie, and their children, Tori, Taylor, Miranda, Vince, Lindsey, Matthew and Megan, and their grandchildren, Landon, Jackson, Luca, Gio, Peter, and Grayson; Michael A. Mummert, and his children, Emily, Bryce, and Karli, and his grandson, Caden; and Heather E. Little, her husband, Drew, and their children, Madalyn, Masyn, and Mycah; a sister, Eleanor Muscarelli; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, with The Rev. Dr. Kathy Vitalis Hoffman and The Rev. Faye C. Snyder, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior. Burial will be private. The church is respectfully requesting that attendees wear masks.
