Carmen M. Minge

Carmen Maria Minge, 89, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, December 3, 2018 at her home.

Born on Saturday, March 9, 1929 in San Jose, Costa Rica, she was a daughter of the late Roberto and Clemencia Chacon Mora. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David T. Minge, who died in 2000; a sister, Virginia, and a brother, Roberto. Carmen was of the Catholic faith and had been employed as an accountant in the medical field for many years. She loved music and was active with the Charleston (SC) Symphony Orchestra League and she also took great pleasure in gardening.

Carmen is survived by her son, David R. Minge of Hanover.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 AM Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons celebrating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in her native land of Costa Rica.
