Carlos Wesley Hulse, 80, of Hanover, loving husband of Kathy Ann Bartzer Hulse, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at his home.
Born on Sunday, February 15, 1942 in Compton, CA, he was a son of the late Jewel Wesley Hulse and Oma Ray Medlin Hulse. Carlos worked in farming, was a mechanic for automobiles and heavy equipment, was a technician at the GM Proving Grounds and worked in equipment maintenance in copper and gold mines. He was also a manager for an engineering and fabrication group and finally was employed as a machine shop fabricator and welder. He was a school board member in Maricopa, AZ and collected antique radios. Carlos lived life to its fullest, he liked to have fun and tell stories.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 28 years, are his four daughters, Nicole Carlyle-Coester, Leslie Carlyle-Burnett and her husband, Danny, Desiree Owen and Andrea Briseno; grandchildren, Dustin and Garrett Burnett, Chelsey and Leah Owen, Gabriella Briseno, Elijah Montijo and Isabella Newsom Williamson; a brother, Donald John Barnett and his wife, Nancy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Robin Troublefield; and a brother, L. Russell Hulse.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
