Carley E. Wantz, 31, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at her home.
Born on Saturday, January 7, 1989, she was the daughter of Randall B. Wantz, of Hanover, and the late Brenda A. Wantz. She is also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Wilbur Strausbaugh; paternal grandparents, Robert F. Wantz and Betty L. Noble; and several aunts and uncles.
A 2007 graduate of Southwestern High School, Carley studied EMT courses at WellSpan York Hospital and worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years. She enjoyed hiking, spending time at Lake Marburg and helping others. However, she found her greatest joy in her daughter, Trinity Topper.
In addition to her father and daughter, survivors include a boyfriend, Chad Pearce; maternal grandmother, Chrystelle Strausbaugh; one aunt, Heidi Hanson and her husband, Artie; two uncles, Robert D. Wantz and his wife, Joanne and Keith Shaffer; and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends at a viewing from 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Services will be private but will be live streamed on her memorial tribute page at

starting at 1:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2020.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the viewing will be required to wear masks, be socially distanced and attendance inside the funeral home will be limited to ten people at a time.
