Brian Bohn

Brian Bohn, 53, of Hanover, husband of Michelle McGee, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Friday, July 5, 1963 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Phyllis McGough of Gettysburg and the late Thomas N. Bohn. Brian was employed by the Gettysburg Municipal Authority for 34 years where he was a water treatment plant operator. He attended the Hanover First Church of God and was a member of the AFL – CIO United Steel Workers Union #7343-05, where he was the Union Steward for more than 25 years. Brian enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and riding his motorcycle, but his greatest love was fishing.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his sister, Tonya Tighe; two step-children, Thomas and Ella; and his nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A memorial service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held at 7 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover with Pastor Jerry Shoap officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7 pm at the church.
