Beulah M. Trone Mondorff, 94, of Hanover, loving wife of Paul M. Mondorff, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at The Village at Utz Terrace.
Born on Thursday, September 9, 1920 in Glen Rock, she was a daughter of the late Maurice G. and Carrie A. Landis Trone. Always known as a hard worker, she is often remembered from her years working as a cashier at Sterner’s Grocery. She was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the St. Mark Sewing Group and the former Friendly Chain Class. She was a member of the YWCA and the National Chapter of AARP. An avid gardener, she was known for having a “green thumb”.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 69 years, she is survived by a daughter, Janet M. Mondorff; a son, Richard G. Mondorff and his wife, Rebecca, all of Hanover; two grandchildren, Chad E. Mondorff and his wife, Jennifer, and Carrie E. Mondorff; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Bryce Mondorff; a sister, Relda Walker of Shrewsbury; and a niece, Carol Walker-Smith.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Kirk A. Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
