Betty Jane Klinedinst, 87, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, November 11, 2010 surrounded by her family in her own home as she had wished.
Born on July 18, 1923 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Anna Dick Biddle and wife of 65 years to the late Norman Klinedinst, who died in 2007. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and John Biddle; a sister, Evelyn Feltch; and a grandson, Eugene Buhr, Jr.
A 1941 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she was employed by Malcolm Mills until she retired in 1972 and began a business with her daughter cleaning homes and offices. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on York Street in Hanover and enjoyed trips to the beach and being with her family.
She is survived by her son, Gary Klinedinst and his wife, Dorothy, of Louisiana; five daughters, Beverly Buhr of Hanover, Angela Brouse and her husband, Michael, of Irishtown, Mollyanna Clark and her husband, Wayne “Tim”, Kim Klinedinst and April Cramer and her husband, Thomas, all of Hanover; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Clair Biddle and his wife, Grace, and Edward Biddle, all of Hanover.
The funeral will be held at 10 am on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with Father Paul Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Conroy, Dean Berwager, Jim McLaughlin, Joe Smith, Joe Noel, Zachary Noel, Jared Buhr and Spc. Raun Cramer.
The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
