Bert John Nahory, 82, of Hanover, husband of Alice S. Nahory, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at UMPC Pinnacle Hanover.
Born on Wednesday, May 13, 1936 in Duquesne, PA, he was a son of the late William and Julia J. Ochap Nahory. He was also preceded in death by his infant twin brother, William J. Nahory.
A 1956 graduate of Duquesne High School, he earned his Associate’s Degree from Penn Technical Institute of Technology. He spent his career with Westinghouse Electronic Systems Group, retiring in 1994 following 33 years of service. He was an honorable, patient and understanding man.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by three sons and their families, Bert W. Nahory of Pasadena, MD, Brian R. Nahory and his wife, Marci, of Hanover and John Osborn of Dunn, NC; and three sisters and their families, Geraldine Kelmeckis and her husband, Edward, of Munhall, Lea Chbosky and her husband, Fred, of Upper Sinclair and Mary Ann Anderson and her husband, Charles, of Monroeville.
Services will be private and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
