Benjamin T. Young, Jr., 85, entered into God’s eternal care Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.
Born June 2, 1927 in Westminster, MD, he was the son of the late Benjamin T. Young, Sr. and Georgia I. Staup Young. Mr. Young served with the US Army Signal Corp in Japan from 1945 to 1947 and retired from the R.H. Sheppard Company in 1999 after 47 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A viewing will be held 10-11:00am Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
