Barry L. Herring, 77, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.
Born on Monday, January 3, 1944 in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late John Grant Herring and Mildred Mae Miller Herring. Barry was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Herring, who died in 2008; a sister, Nancy Stottlemyer; and two brothers, Roy and Stanley Herring. He enjoyed playing Bingo, going to yard sales, mowing lawns for friends and neighbors, and going to backyard barbeques and cookouts.
Barry is survived by a sister, Shirley A. Huff of New Oxford; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
