Barbara Naill, 62, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 following a battle with leukemia.
Born on November 19, 1948 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Wilma Dubbs Lingg.
A 1966 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, she was a lifelong member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Employed by Round Hill for seventeen years, she later worked for Snyder’s of Hanover until 2009. She was a loving mother and grandmother who found nothing greater than the time spent with her family. She enjoyed knitting and baking and was known for both her lemon meringue and pumpkin pies.
Survivors include her two sons, Andrew R. Naill and Christopher Naill and his wife, Jessica, all of Hanover; two grandchildren, Alexis and Mason Naill; a brother, Michael Lingg and his wife, Susan of Williamsport; a nephew and a niece. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Robert Michael Naill and Robert Michael Naill, II.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, February 28, 2011at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 Third Street, Hanover with The Rev. John A. Szada, Jr. serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Naill, Michael Lingg, Darren Smith, Lennie Dincher, and Christopher Elliott. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 2-4 PM Sunday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
