Barbara J. Hastings, 68, of Glenville, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024 at The Gardens of Gettysburg.
Born on Monday, September 26, 1955 in Baltimore, she was raised in Dundalk, and was the daughter of the late Ralph Lee Dowden and Elinore Mae Davis Dowden. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wayne Dale Hastings, who died on December 25, 2023; and three brothers, Jim, Kerry and Keith Dowden. Barb was a retired IT Specialist with the Social Security Administration.
Survivors include her brother, Ron Dowden; a sister, Melissa Dyniec; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and many dear and special friends.
