B.J. Deitz

B.J. Deitz, 32, of Hanover, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at his home.

Born on Saturday, January 11, 1992, he was a son of William Albert Deitz, Sr. and Ronnita Nichelle Sauter Deitz. He was also preceded in death by a half sister, Sarah Deitz. B.J was a graduate of South Western High School and was employed by R. H Crawford. He enjoyed fishing, going to auctions, playing video games, and going for hikes. B.J. also liked to travel to new places and collecting souvenirs.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three sisters, Amanda Bell and her spouse, Kelly, Emily Deitz, and Olivia Deitz; two half sisters, Angela Weaver, and Jennifer Burke; four nieces and nephews, Brayden, Amiyah, Cayden, and Asher Bell; and his grandmother’s, Susan Iley, and Ethel Alderson.

The funeral will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway. A viewing will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens.
