Ashley Marie Lorenzano, 34, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2017 at her home.
Born on Thursday, May 12, 1983 in Silver Spring, MD, she was a daughter of Monica L. Duelley and Timothy H. Lorenzano and his wife, Terri, all of Littlestown. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles W. “Bill” Duelley and her aunt, Michelle Marie Lorenzano.
A 2001 graduate of Littlestown High School, Ashley went on to graduate from the Hanover Nursing Program. She worked at Bayada Home Health Care as an Licensed Practical Nurse for children with special needs. She would go above and beyond for her patients; always volunteering whenever one of her children were participating in the Special Olympics and mentoring new nurses on how to compassionately work with the children. She was very artistic and would draw, write, paint, and sculpt as her creative outlet. Ashley was a kind, loving, selfless individual who connected genuinely with every person that she met. She made an unforgettable impression on the people around her that will last a lifetime.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her soul mate and fiancé, Richard D. Becker and her loving four legged companion and head of the house, Bubba, both of Spring Grove; five siblings, Matthew R. Lorenzano and his wife, Meagan, Erin R. and Shelby L. Lorenzano, all of Littlestown, Justin A. Redman of Hart, TX, and Lauren E. Redman of Littlestown; paternal grandparents, Timothy and Lucille Lorenzano of St. Leonard, MD; maternal grandmother, Loretta Duelley of Fairmont, WV; paternal great-grandmother, Isabelle Dornan of Canton, OH; maternal great-grandmother, Goldie Corley of Fairmont, WV; father in-law, Richard M. Becker III; stepdaughter Mileena H. Becker; step grandchild, Lincoln M. Stokes, all of Spring Grove; and aunts and uncles, James Lorenzano and his wife, Teresa, Richelle VanMeter and her husband, Doug, Angela Scott and her husband, Ty, Charles Duelley Jr. and his wife, Becky, and Gloria Hoke and her husband, Bill, with all of their families.
A celebration of her life will be held 7 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Littlestown Chapel, 1144 Bollinger Road, Littlestown with The Rev. Scott Morgan officiating. Flowers for the service will need to be delivered to Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., Hanover by noon on Wednesday. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 4 to 7pm in the Chapel before the service.
