Arlene L. Seigman, 87, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Homewood at Plum Creek.
Born on Thursday, May 21, 1931 in Dillsburg, she was a daughter of the late Ferman L. and Mary Lerew May. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald E. Seigman, who died in 2008; and a brother, Blaine May. Arlene was a floral designer in the Hanover area for many years and, in addition, cared for children for 35 years. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends.
Arlene will be sadly missed by her son, Terry Seigman and his wife, Toni; a daughter, Tammy Terrazas and her husband, David, all of Hanover; grandchildren, Dustin Seigman and his wife, Lauren, of Hanover, Tyler Seigman and his wife, Katelyn, of Gettysburg, and Zachary Terrazas of Hanover; two great-grandchildren, Dawson and Mila Seigman; brothers, Paul May and his wife, Bonnie, Myrle May and his wife, Betty, and Gary May and his wife, Bonnie; sisters, Shirley Raber and Linda Runyon and her husband, Rich; two sisters-in-law, Virgie May and Norma Seigman; and many other children who knew her and loved her as grandma.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Grace United Church of Christ with The Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier officiating. Burial will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
