Anthony E. “Tony” Bosserman, 53, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at York Hospital.
Born on Thursday, July 2, 1964 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Queena Dubs Bosserman Cunningham and the late Fred T. Bosserman, who died on May 2, 2007. Tony was a 1982 graduate of Biglerville High School. He has been a machine operator at Voith Hydro, Inc. in York since 2007 and was a former employee with the RH Sheppard Company. An avid sprint car fan, he would enjoy traveling with his family to the Eldora Speedway in Ohio for the Kings Royal event. He was a member of the Hanover Republican Club and the McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose #720.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and her husband, Edward, are two sons, Ian A. Bosserman and Cameron M. Bosserman; a sister, Terri Bosserman Sanders, all of Hanover; two uncles, Raymond Bosserman of Aspers and Arnel Bosserman of Crossville, TN; an aunt, Linda Bosserman of Staunton, VA; his former wife, Heidi Bosserman of Hanover; and numerous cousins.
A private celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date.
As per his wishes, Tony chose to be an organ donor so that others would have a chance at life. Accordingly, the family asks that those who desire may make a memorial contribution to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. Third Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
