Anna P. Saltzgiver, 100, of Spring Grove, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born on Tuesday, December 21, 1915 in Manchester Twp., York County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin S. and Laura Linebaugh Hyde, and granddaughter of the late Eli and Amanda Neiman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles W. Saltzgiver, who died in 1992; a son, Martin L. Saltzgiver; a sister, Louise Patterson; and two brothers, Albine and Donald Hyde. Anna was a member of the Mount Zion United Church of Christ in Spring Grove.
Survivors include two sons, David R. Saltzgiver and his wife, Karen, of Dallastown, and Raymond E. Saltzgiver and his wife, Sandra, of Spring Grove; one daughter, Carolyn E. Shamer and her husband, Fred, of Owings Mills, MD; a daughter-in-law, Shelley Saltzgiver of Hanover; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 10 am Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Mount Zion United Church of Christ with The Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
