Services: A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning, at Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Avenue, Hanover.
Visitation: Visitation will be at the church Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Anna B. Baughman, 88, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her home. She was the loving wife of Charles H. Baughman to whom she has been married over 59 years. Mrs. Baughman had been a Nurses Aid at Hanover Hospital when she met Charles who was a patient at the time. Born in Westminster, MD on May 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Daniel S. and Mary Myers Baugher. She was a faithful member of Hanover Church of the Brethren where she sang in choir for more than 67 years and taught Sunday School for 15 years. Mrs. Baughman enjoyed life, music, nature and especially her family. She graduated from Charles Carroll High School, Westminster, MD with the class of 1935. In addition to her husband, she will be sadly missed by her daughters Betsy Hoffer of York New Salem, Jane Luquette of York Springs, 4 grandchildren Laura Smith and husband Jeremy, Julie Hoffer, Joseph and Andrea Luquette. Mrs. Baughman was preceded in death by a still born daughter, 4 brothers Noah Baugher, Jessie Baugher, Edward Baugher, Harry Baugher, and a sister Lydia Harris. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning, at Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Avenue, Hanover. Visitation will be at the church Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. The Rev. Marcia Kump will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery, Westminster, MD. Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the Children's Aid Society, 343 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, PA 17350.
