Ann Grace Garrett Miller, 87, of Spring Grove, wife of Solomon Miller, Jr., entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover Hospital.
Born on Friday, March 3, 1933 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Grace Bair Garrett. A graduate of Eichelberger High School, Ann was a member of St. Paul’s (Dubs) Union Church for more than 40 years and served as the church organist and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed teaching music lessons, cooking, card games, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband of nearly 69 years, survivors include three children, Cynthia Reynolds and her husband, Patrick, Diane McAfee, all of York, and Christopher Miller and his partner, Trey Raulerson, of FL; three grandchildren, Nichole, Danielle and Evan; two great-granddaughters, Natalee and Harper; a sister, Elaine Hull; a best friend of more than 70 years, Jean Boyer; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Morkie, Ernie.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at St. Paul’s (Dubs) Union Church Cemetery at 1 p.m. with The Rev. Susan Fritz officiating.
Per the request of the family, attendees are invited to dress casually and bring a lawn chair as seating may be limited.
