Services: A mass of christian burial to remember and celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Rd., Hanover.
Visitation: Viewings will be at the church Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m and Monday morning at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Angela T. Huff, 79, of Hanover was called to her eternal reward, 10:55 A.M. Thursday morning, September 27, 2007 at Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond E. Teeter Huff, Jr. who died April 28, 1985. Born in McSherrystown on June 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Bernardina Horwedel Weaver. Following graduation from Delone Catholic High with the class of 1946, Angela worked at J.C Penny's as a window decorator until the birth of her first child in 1956. She made the decision to stay at home and raise her family eventually having five children. Angela was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Her life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great grandson. Angela will be greatly missed by her daughter Sharon Smith and husband David of Spring Grove, 4 sons Gene Huff and wife Holly of Hanover, Jerry and wife Jeanette of Hanover, Jim and wife Tina of Lusby, MD, Jeff and wife Mary of Spring Grove, also 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Janelle, Brandon, Derek, Danielle, Aaron, Tyler, Daniel, Jenny, Jimmy, Amanda, Austin, a great grandson Wyatt, her brother George Weaver of McSherrystown, and her sister Helen Dougherty of New York. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Josephine Weaver and Catherine Poist both of whom died this year. A Mass of Christian burial to remember and celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Rd., Hanover. Viewings will be at the church Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m and Monday morning at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Rev. James Sterner will serve as celebrant with The Rev. Timothy D. Marcoe as concelebrant. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover PA 17331. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
