Amanda Thomas

Amanda Lynn, 41, of New Oxford, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at UPMC Hanover.

Born on Thursday, April 29, 1982, she was the daughter of Arlene Hinckley Dougherty. Amanda was preceded in death by her step father, Richard C. Dougherty; brother in law, Eddie Jung; nephew, Ashton Thomas; and her two beloved pets, Chewy and Kahlani. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, cooking, baking, and absolutely loved her dogs. Amanda was employed by Wellspan and was a dedicated worker who always went the extra mile. She received many outstanding achievements at work for her dedication.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, is her companion of 8.5 years, Sean Claggett; brother, Christopher H. Thomas; three dogs, Milo, Otis, and Annabelle; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 11:30 am to 12:30pm on Friday March 15, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover.
