Alice Marie Seidenstricker
Alice Marie Seidenstricker, 88, of Hanover, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Homewood at Plum Creek after a period of declining health.
Born August 12, 1921 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Aida Perry Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John L. Seidenstricker, who died in 1986; two brothers, Charles and Donald Roberts and one sister, Mary Strosnider.
Mrs. Seidenstricker was a 1939 graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg and was a former employee of Sterner’s Market and Hanover House. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where she was active with the sewing and quilting clubs.
Survivors include her four sons, John Seidenstricker and his wife, Mary Jane, of Milford, PA, Frank Seidenstricker and his wife, Susan, Charles Seidenstricker and his wife, Diane, and Donald Seidenstricker and his wife, Jody, all of Hanover; seven grandchildren, Charles Seidenstricker, Jr., Douglas Seidenstricker, Jeremy Seidenstricker, Allison Seidenstricker, Elizabeth Bonagura, Lauren Seidenstricker and Brynn Seidenstricker and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Seidenstricker.
