Adalynn Jade Bosserman, 21 day old daughter of Dakota and Ashley Small Bosserman of East Berlin, was embraced by God on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Born on Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Hershey, she was born with a structural heart defect. She was a fighter and gave the family special moments like when she grasped her older sister, Lily’s hand. This rare disorder will have new insight being that Adalynn donated her heart in order to help others. She was greatly loved and taught the family how precious life and health really are. She will forever be in their hearts.
In addition to her parents and her sister, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Doug and Ann Small of East Berlin; paternal grandmother, Tammy Breighner and her husband, Gary of Abbottstown; paternal grandfather, Ken Bosserman, Jr. of Dover; maternal great-grandparents, Elizabeth Hostetter and her husband Willard Reger of Iowa, Eugene Garrett and Perry and Emma Olphin, all of Hanover and paternal grandparents, Donald Jacobs of Abbottstown and Ken and Patsy Bosserman of Dover. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Audrey Jacobs.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Larry Dentler officiating.
