Paul H. Trask, 57, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on Friday, March 24, 1961 in Plattsburgh, NY, he was a son of the late Harold and Priscilla Trask. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Mance and Susie Santy.
Paul received his bachelor’s degree from Geneva College and went on to receive two masters degrees at McDaniel College and Loyola College. He had worked as a special education teacher for the Baltimore City school system. Paul was a faithful Elder of the Hanover Valley Presbyterian Church, which he had helped found at its inception. He was also a member of the NRA and the American Philatelic Society. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his children. He had a contagious smile and laugh and lived a life full of grace.
Survivors include his wife of almost 34 years, Debra L. Trask; four children, Abby Trask, Erin St. Jacques and her husband, Jonathan, Emma Trask, and Noah Trask, all of Hanover; three grandchildren, Aubrielle, Tristan, and Declan St. Jacques of Hanover; a sister, Sherry Schuman and her husband, John, of Albany, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 10am on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Hanover Valley Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Drew Derreth officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. There will be viewings from 3 to 5pm and from 6 to 8pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the church.
